Akihabara / Kanda Akihabara / Kanda

The Akihabara area, one of Japan’s largest electric districts, is also known as a town for subculture, with shops for electronics and IT products, as well as games, manga, and anime. Some of the shops sell idol group goods and costumes for cosplayers. On weekends, cosplayers dressed as characters gather on the main street. The Kanda area has the atmosphere of an old town. The historic Kanda Myojin Shrine, founded in 730, attracts many visitors who pray for business prosperity and academic success.
